The next Big Laugh is all about MOM - on Mother’s Day, May 9.
With an early show time of 6:00p.m. at the Atascadero Lake Pavilion with live music by the Belmores, the comedy show begins at 7:00 p.m. The stand-up comedians are some of the best around with credits to include Comics Unleashed, Comedy Central, Showtime and Live at Gotham. Jimmy de will shoot photographs available for purchase on-site.
Wine, beer, beverages and appetizers by The Guest House Grill and Pacific Harvest Catering will be sold. Lizette says, “These shows have truly surpassed even my wildest expectations!
The Valentine’s Big Laugh was sold out! Almost 200 people were turned away! The cal- iber of comedians that are excited to come and perform on the Central Coast to support the Big Laugh has been amazing. Each show raises the bar!” Don Friesen, Jill Turnbow, Del Van Dyke and Jaz Kaner will perform with Lizette.
With the increasing cost of putting on the show, Lizette is seekinga premier sponsor that would benefit from the association with The Big Laugh. Lizette’s other project is the production of a pilot sitcom called “Hairlarious!” all about the uninhib- ited bantering between Lizette and fellow comedians as she gives them new hairstyles and makeovers. There is great interest in Hollywood with the on-going search for just the right network “fit.” The project is on hold for now while the production com- pany wraps up a Showtime project.
All exciting and very well-deserved praise for our local gal, Lizette.
Tickets are $25 pre-sale or $30 at the door. Don’t delay. It will be a sold-out show!
